Somali Airlines Boeing 720-023B Amsterdam - Schiphol (AMS / EHAM)
Netherlands - September 6, 1978

Somali Airlines Boeing 707-330B Frankfurt am Main (Rhein-Main AB) (FRA / EDDF / FRF)
Germany - 1988

Somali Airlines Boeing 720-023B Dubai - International (DXB / OMDB)
United Arab Emirates - August 15, 1974

Somali Airlines Boeing 707-338C London - Stansted (STN / EGSS)
England, United Kingdom - April 1985
In the 1970s and 1980s Somali Airlines was flying high.
War-torn Ethiopia benefited immensely from the war of aggression waged by the European and the United States imperialism against natural resource-rich Somalia.

Europe.

Europe.

Bosaso Airport - Somalia.
Jubba Airways – described by many as Somalia’s unofficial national carrier.

Daallo Airlines.
After Somali Airlines ceased operations, Somalis quickly put their hands in their pockets and bought new aircrafts, Never begged Ethiopian Airlines or anyone else for cheap tickets.

War-torn Ethiopia derives zero economic benefit from Ethiopian Airlines which is struggling to remain in business.

It's Americans and Europeans pride not the pride of Africa - Africans/Africa doesn't manufacture aircraft due to low IQ.
A propaganda campaign will not save Ethiopian Airlines, It is a dying company, By the way, the United States of America can destroy Ethiopian Airlines in the blink of an eye, by simply stopping the supply of spare parts and maintenance service.
Ethiopian Airlines won't survive a week without spare parts and repair manual updates from the United States of America.

Rwanda is now a significant user of the Port of Djibout, Rwanda-bound cargo from around the world are shipped to the Port of Djibouti then airlifted to Rwanda's capital, Kigali within two days. RwandAir Cargo launched the sea-air cargo services to Djibouti International Airport on June 19, 2024 and never looked back.
Djibouti's enviable geographic location on the Somali Peninsula allows for efficient multimodal transport, combining sea and air routes for faster delivery.
Currently most African countries have their own national airlines.

One of seven major ports in Djibouti.
After Rwanda, South Sudan is planning to use Djibouti Ports for its international trade, It is ditching Kenya's port of Mombasa over corruption, fraud and cargo theft and opting for the ports of Djibouti, the most reliable ports in Africa.

Djibouti Port Continually Earns More Net Profit Than Ethiopian Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines in Somalia - Nice Somali Ocean View.
Djibouti port has earned $1.575 billion net profit in 2025, Djibouti port derives the majority of its revenue from transhipment traffic, Ethiopian Airlines has reported $7 billion revenue in 2025 fiscal year (take whatever Ethiopian Airlines says with a grain of salt) but it has not yet announced its net profit for the 2025 fiscal year.
