Somalia has officially announced the return of Somali Airlines

Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Farah announced that the Federal Government has acquired two Airbus A320 aircraft as part of efforts to revive Somali Airlines and expects the aircraft to begin operations within two months. The move marks a major step toward restoring the national carrier.

Ethiopian Airlines won't survive a week without spare parts and repair manual updates from the United States of America.

Rwanda is now a significant user of the Port of Djibout, Rwanda-bound cargo from around the world are shipped to the Port of Djibouti then airlifted to Rwanda's capital, Kigali within two days. Djibouti Port Continually Earns More Net Profit Than Ethiopian Airlines

Djibouti port has earned $1.575 billion net profit in 2025, Djibouti port derives the majority of its revenue from transhipment traffic, Ethiopian Airlines has reported $7 billion revenue in 2025 fiscal year (take whatever Ethiopian Airlines says with a grain of salt) but it has not yet announced its net profit for the 2025 fiscal year.
