Somali Airlines Boeing 720-023B Amsterdam - Schiphol (AMS / EHAM)
Netherlands - September 6, 1978

Somali Airlines Boeing 707-330B Frankfurt am Main (Rhein-Main AB) (FRA / EDDF / FRF)
Germany - 1988

Somali Airlines Boeing 720-023B Dubai - International (DXB / OMDB)
United Arab Emirates - August 15, 1974

Somali Airlines Boeing 707-338C London - Stansted (STN / EGSS)
England, United Kingdom - April 1985

In the 1970s and 1980s Somali Airlines was flying high.

War-torn Ethiopia benefited immensely from the war of aggression waged by the European and the United States imperialism against natural resource-rich Somalia.

Europe.

Europe.

Bosaso Airport - Somalia.

Jubba Airways – described by many as Somalia’s unofficial national carrier.

Daallo Airlines.

After Somali Airlines ceased operations, Somalis quickly put their hands in their pockets and bought new aircrafts, Never begged Ethiopian Airlines or anyone else for cheap tickets.
