ጎላ ሚካሌል ያለበት ጎላ ሰፈር (የጦር ሰፈር ማለት ነው) ድሮ የምኒልክ ፊት በር ቤተ መንግስት ሲሰራ ድብን ያለ የጅብ ጫካ ስለነበር ብዙ ሰው በጅብ የተበላበት ቦታ ነው ። ያለው ከጥቁር አምበሳ ሆስፒታል ፣ ሴጣን ቤትና ቴዎድሮስ አደባባይ እስከ ተክለ ኃይማኖትና የኤርትራዎች ሰፈር እስከ ነበረው ደቀ መሃሪ ያለው ነው። የኤርትራና ትግሬ ሰዎች በብዛት ስለሚኖሩበት የትግሬ ጠላ (ጽራይና ድቋይ) በንጉስ ሚካኤል የቀንድ ዋንጫ የምንጠጣው እዚያ ነበር ። ከመርካቶ ካምቦሎጆ ውለን ማታ የምንመለሰው በዚያ ነበር ። አማራ ጉራጌ ትግሬ ሕዝብ ድብልቅ መኖሪያ ነበር። ዛሬ ይህን ይመስላል!!! ይህ ፎቶ የተነሳው ቴድሮስ አደባባይ ላይ ወደ ሰንጋ ተራ አስመልክቶ ነው ። መሃል ላይ ያሉት ደሳሳ ቤቶች አሁንም አሉ

What's the debt to future generations? Many have been asking this question since Corridor. Ethiopians want answers.

I recently spoke with someone in the capital. I was told something striking: Addis Ababa is no longer a city for ordinary citizens. In the past, people could travel to Addis to visit relatives, conduct small business, and return home. Today, that is no longer possible for most, largely due to the cost of living and other things.
Ordinary people are increasingly disconnected from the capital and other major cities because they simply cannot afford to exist in them or due to rules and regulations. With more than 80% of the population being rural and over half living below the poverty line, urban life has become inaccessible to the majority.
Current urban development projects, such as the so-called corridor developments, appear to primarily benefit wealthy elites, politically connected groups, and foreign investors, rather than the broader population. These spaces feel exclusionary, serving a narrow segment of society while sidelining the everyday citizen.
As a result, the country appears increasingly divided between those who have wealth and political power and those who do not. This widening gap risks deepening social alienation and undermining the sense of shared national ownership of the capital and major cities-even the country. You cannot make that thing people centered because it is an alien environment build mostly by alien assistance without balancing overall national development.

Merkato pick-pocket Sodo [ deleted ]-us, you grew up pick pocketing in merkato and Abebech or abiy have no idea what historic Addis looked like because they were in the Jungle that time. It is by accident they are in this position and ploughed the people and the history of the city. They believe it is Oromo city and they could do whatever they want to do with it. The problem is that I don't have irrational hate for Abiy. Do you how much I love Haile Selassie? There is no regime more hateful than the Derg because it was stupid. The feudal regime was an unjust regime, but those people loved Ethiopia. If you see members of the royal family today, they all love Ethiopia. When was the last time you saw a woyane member ever passionately loving Ethiopia? Almost never! They hate the word 'Ethiopia'. Abiy Ahmed loves Ethiopia, period. So, Ilike him.
As far the Ethiopia of my generation, it is all documented in black and white, in blood and tears. But Ethiopia has to modernize. Ethiopia must enter 21st century.
I just posted a skate park for the Cool Kids. That is what make my heart filled with joy. Each and very one of the shanty slums we romaticize so much about must go. This is not 1960, 70, or 90s. We are into high speed train, electric cars, AI aided classes and high rise living.

Odie Abiy, the man from poor background, has deceived Ethiopian on every aspect of life . I remember when he announced the development project of the ለገሃር area he told us those people who have been giving in the area will be accommodated right there in apartments build for them. In reality those people were forced out & uprooted and that is continuing through out the city until now. This government intentionally lies , cheats and abuses its own people. Can Horus give any explanation on this ? He will not fare to say any thing out of the boundary of his bosses communication policy !
