Yes very true. People may think you are not telling the truth because you did give a page(s) of a book or an internet link. But, this had happened. Menelick clothed Kistanes on their way back from Menelick's court with a little twist. Their clothes had been stripped taken by Galla bandits on their way to Sahle Sellasie palace at Angolalla. However, being stripped of their clothese was the least of the cruel treatment the travellers received by the hands of the Gallas. They metted out worse things to them. They beat them. Some died of it, some survived with their severe injurilies. Some were sold as slaves.

Of course, as you correctly said it, once they reached Angolalla, they were treated for their horrendous injuries, fed and clothed. On their return, they kept their clothes and some. They carried some form of insignia, a banner or flag of the King stitched to their clothes to warn the "savage Gallas", as European travellers described them which meant they were pagans but not Christians, that these Kistanes had the protection of the Amara King.
Now, history repeats itself in Kistane, diffrently. This time the Shene terrorists have the cooperation of Kistanes such as Whorus to kill, burn, rob and tax Kistanes, in his village of birth of Amuate. I provided a FB page yesterday as proof.

It was a long time ago when I first visited Jimma during the celebration of Mesqal. I was mesmerized watching the Kulo (Janjero) people parading joyfully, playing their traditional musical instruments in a grand celebration. The crowd was immense. I know Kulo and Janjaro also known as Jan-Joro (the ear of the king; not sure if that saying has a basis) now called I think Dawro are left overs after atrocities committed on them and for sure Aba-Jifar used to sale them forcefully as slaves to Arabs. There are many others including Kefichos. Jimma does not at all look like gala land. Not at all. It is a land stollen by force and awarded to OPDO by TPLF that did not care about or know Ethiopian history. King Menelik was protector of all these Biher-Behereseboch from all sorts of killing and gala rampaging like a hyena comes to snatch young animals. Beher-Behereseboch should have worshipped Menelik for his protection let alone know him like king. Maybe we should dig for more stories whereby King Menelik actually saved gala from gala savages themselves as these incomers were most likely at odds with one another. For sure Menelik also saved the Harare that were adored by TPLF for its agenda more than their ethnic number could account.
