Your reading of my statement is partly right. Militarily and geo-strategically, Amara and Eritrea will forever be borders with Tigray, I means forever. Moreover, even in the age of cyber-wars, land will remain to be the decisive element of fighting wars. አበው እንደሚሉት ሰው የሚደባደበው አጠገቡ ካለው ሰው ጋር ነው ! But this is only half of the meaning of my statement.

The critical political significance of Amara-Eritrea alliance is that the survival of Ethiopia is singularly dependent upon a strong Amara. From here on until the end of time, the Ethiopian political dynamics will be driven not by the good will of this or that ethnic group in power, but by the balance of power between and among the various ethnic groups. It is simply a given and elementary truism that an orderly, organized and strong Amara is a necessity for an Ethiopian order as air is a necessity for life.

I, Horus, don't mince words. I go straight to the essence. Alliance, cooperation, collaboration, etc ... no difference!

What I said was, we Eritreans see Ethiopia as one indivisible whole country, not just individual ethnic groups or regions, because we believe "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts."

Countries make alliances with other countries, and the Amhara are part of the country we have made an alliance with.

For example, when we Eritreans signed a peace agreement on July 9, 2018 with Ethiopia, formally ending the so-called border conflict between both countries, and restoring full diplomatic relations, we signed the agreement with a full knowledge that we were making peace with ALL Ethiopian citizens from every ethnic group and region, including the people and region of Tigray.

First of all, our Eritrean general Sebhat Efrem has not given any recent interview, let alone say "Eritrean schools are providing Amharic language courses," which sounds like a silly TPLF propaganda bereft of basic logic.
