You are swimming in a vicious circle. I know your problem is with Amharic. Because you mistakenly identify the group labeled Amahara with the Amharic language. And speaking Amharic will make you less a person than the identified group. The Amharic language doesn’t belong to the Amaharas but it belongs to the Horn of Africa. It is a blend of Geez, Tigrigna, Guraginga, oromogna etc. Prof Haile Larebo has written extensively on the subject. He is a distinguished scholar.
Back to my point, as I said, language’s main purpose is communication and survival. It depends on how it has evolved and how rich in its grammatical font is. You can’t borrow it but it has to develop on its own with the help of society.
Jawar suggested English to be an official language of Ethiopia. Because him too has the problem like many for the same reason that I specified above.
Again language should not be a concern. It will be resolved under the individual right context by true experts.

I didn't say that, I want independence for Oromo's, but I am saying, that's out right collectively if we give up on Ethiopia ever becoming a decent place for Oromo's. Some Oromo have given up, and they have the right to, and have a reason to. Others, choose, perhaps foolishly, or naively, not to. Both could be right, but both sides have the right to have their own opinion. I am even seeing a lot of Amhara's calling for independence too, while many others would not call for that, as of yet-they too, have their rights to their opinions. Ethiopians here need to learn how to agree or disagree respectfully, without resorting to insults and curse words just because someone else has a different opinion or point of view- eshi?
