I really do share TGAA’s concern. But the timing of the Addis demonstration is giving me hope. And I might add I do not see in any shape or form there will be negotiation. Abiy is a legitimate Ethiopian leader. For TPLF he is not. Guys both side know it is only in the battlefield their differences will be resolved.

Tolche likes to provoke other than that he is a nice guy. He knows that OLA is a small protest group armed with light weapons. You need more than that to represent the aspirations of the millions of the Oromo people. That is what makes juntitoch very desperate. Only PMAA and some Amhara elites can save juntitoch by making damaging concessions.There have already been rumours of back-door talks/negotiations in Nairobi. Hitherto the position of the Ethiopian government and people is clear evidenced by the declarations made during the demonstration held today in Addis Abeba. I am impressed by the mayor of Addis Abeba. Mrs Adanech Abebé is a courageous and terrific lady. God bless her.

Let me reverse the question on you .. when you are promoting and arguing wyeanes policies, and praising weyanes advances into other regions of Ethiopia, covering weyanes scorched earth policies of burning properties and killing innocent civilians, were you doing all that on behalf of Tigrian people or TPLF'S?
To go back to your question, Eritrea as a sovereign nation, and HGDEF as a creation of Eritrean people and one of the political parties in Eritea ( oppositions included) it is up to the Eritrean people to decide whether to accept it as their party to lead them or to remove it from power and replace it with another party they deem fit to do so.
However, when it comes to Ethiopia, in the 11th hour, when TPLF had put the very existence of Ethiopia in the balance, Eritreans both the government and the people have put their thumb on the scale in Ethiopia's favor, so under Meles Eritrea was punished for standing against weyanes shenanigans, now again they are being punished for standing with Ethiopian people, so it behooves Ethiopians to give the Eritrean case our full consideration going forward. We shouldn't let Eritreans suffer and carry undue burdens because they took a risk to stand with us when our existence was threatened by the internal determined enemy.

Your false equivalency withstanding the unvarnished truth is Weyane had been germinated in anti-Ethiopian soil,grew and is going to die from it. Weyane from let -go its main object was to destroy Ethiopia, the only thing that caused it to have a change of heart was that when it got 4 kilos found out that it actually can govern with an iron fist and run the country as it wants to. It organized the whole government structure in its own service. It disjointed the society so it can fall down whenever weyanes let the strings that hold it together go. After weyanes isolated themselves in Mekle in fear of being prosecuted by the Ethiopian government, they saw no other way than killing Ethiopia as a state to be the power center again. Given their upper hand in almost economically and militarily ( which they have been preparing for two decades for this occasion ) they decided to go for the jugular. And they did with all their might but Eritrea played a crucial role to defuse it.. Had they succeeded Ethiopia would have ceased to exist. I'm not arguing that Eritreans don't have their own interest --they do. But their survival was not threatened as Ethiopia's was. I do believe it is still the fault of Ethiopians at least since 30 years. Will the attrocities be worse than when Tplf of moved in? Doubt it whether Mengistu left or stayed it is a matter of Ethiopian people. At the time, Tplf of Eplf together moved in to stop any resistance their advisers are still the same group as today. They are trying to materialise their dream and fully the West is involved. Even after the government that claims to be proud of Ethiopians still keeps mistakes instead of preventing Tplf quickly and through negotiations that will save even Tigrayan youths let alone other regions. So who ever is giving advice to the current government, plus the Olf groups within waiting for orders from outside and the mistrust between Oromo and Amara, the inactivitiy of especially the diaspora in the world is exacerbating the situation, making things worse. Acting decisivily and quickly would have given a room towards peace for Ethiopia
