Both orgs, are like dumb & dumber.

While I am wary and very suspicious, to say the least, about allying with the TPLF/Tigrayans, let's be honest, alliances change in politics based on interests. Abiy and his party once upon a time, were armed, trained, and guided by the TPLF, to keep OLF and Oromo's marginalized and subjugated. They were the TPLF's traitors in Oromia, and as soon as Qeerroo and the Oromo nation rose in unison, the OPDO exploited that movement to put themselves where TPLF was/is. Both looted the country blind together and kept its people, the Oromo in particular, subjugated, with the tigrayan elites being at the top of the hierarchy, of course. Both are criminals, Abiy's OPDO, the TPLF, ANDM, all of the EPRDF=have blood on their hands and loot in their accounts, none are innocent. So, yes, TPLF deserves what they got, and even more perhaps, but the OPDO ain't any better.
Yet, this is who the EPLF allied with, recently, to counter a common foe: the tplf. adelem ende? Once again, I ain't mad at that, it's the nature of the game, it is what it is. Shrewd politics, betrayals, war, etc, this is what our region is known as, it is what it is!
Yesterday's allies can easily be tomorrow's foes. For example, the Eritrean armed forces are allies with Amhara's today, but if Amhara elites were to get power and decide to ''reclaim their lost sea ports,'' you'd see Eritreans allying with Oromo's and others.
Or, how TPLF and EPLF were allies, despite their disagreements and ideological differences, because they had a foe in common: the Derg.
Then, the EPLF helped the TPLF solidify its position as rulers of Ethiopia, by keeping the Oromo's and others, subjugated and marginalized. It wasn't personal, I am sure, the EPLF/Eritreans didn't have a grudge or hatred for us Oromo's, but it was in their best interests that their allies, the TPLF, gained power, and managed the transition.
Do I completely blame the EPLF? Of course not! They did what was best for them and Eritrea, even if it were to the detriment of others, and I blame mostly the OLF's leadership for not living up to its potential and making a strong 100,000 or more, Oromo Military force. Had the OLF been as strong as it could have been, no one in the Horn would've been able to mess around with the Oromo's, this is a fact. Oromo's are among the toughest fighters in the Horn, no doubting that.
That such an alliance, if the objectives are clear, and are genuinely about fighting a common foe, is as justified as the eplf-tplf alliance was, or the current abiy/amhara elitist supremacist/eplf alliance is now. all are based on common interests, goals, objectives, and a common foe they wish to subjugate or defeat altogether.eritrea wrote: ↑05 Nov 2021, 20:44What are you trying to say?Sadacha Macca wrote: ↑05 Nov 2021, 20:27As the objective Oromo here, I'd like to comment, kind sir;
