this is a very interesting and brilliant observation by General Kasaye Chemeda, who by all standard of an imagination deserved more but not less to have a say on issues of common interest of the people of our country compared to the likes of Jannjoo Mohammed, Tsegaye Ararsa, Henok Gabissa and Izikel Gabisa and their likes, who can show off a zero contribution to the efforts of keeping the country well and safe.

But one major question remains, it seems to me, to answer before we can talk about Oromo and Amhara divide (this applies to the other ethnic groups in the country as well, I think at least).

Who are the Amharas before trying to sort them out?

Here you go again. Just like habasha media, you can not make your point with out mentioning (Jawar and the likes). Insulting Jawar and the likes tells what type of person you are. You are a pretender. Never a truth defender. I think you are extremely jealous of people like Jawar. There is something that eats you from inside. Otherwise you could have made all your points without insulting this people. Do you feel guilty of something? Can you tell as what makes insult these people?

This general lacks vision and nominally elementary broader views because he thinks that every Oromo must feel good and be grateful only because he is an Oromo high ranking general who feels good and grateful, rather than being regretful. He better tell that fiction to general Taddasa Birru, Mammo Mezemmir and or even Mengistu & Garmame Neway.

It is not the number of generals alone that matters most but the number of political all round policy initiators and policy implementer because generals take orders from the political leaderships. Oromos are/were known dedicated fighters but not policy framers and political decision makers as they were kept out of the benefits of having to exercise equal participation in the country's political and governance activities.

That explains the reason why Ethiopian army was defeated by us(EPLF), by the agames,by Somlia nomads etc. I think for Ethiopia to win any war there shouldn't be more than 1 or 2 Oromo Generals in the army.

I am not a politician but yet if Oromos had lots of top generals even under the various bygone governments and kept Mamma Ethiopia independent, intact and free like the birds in the sky what the fck in your hind hole sack makes you think now, when when Oromos have political, etc. powers loony bums like may assign only 1 or 2 Generals in a country where the great and the egalitarian democratic Oromos number some 55 million out of some 100 million good Ethiopians?

Oromos are/were known dedicated fighters but not policy framers and political decision makers as they were kept out of the benefits of having to exercise equal participation in the country's political and governance activities.

You Nailed it. In addition to the army, there were many oromos in the top government positions, with out having significant infuelnce in the political decision making. Most of them were loyal servants of the system. You can just call them "talaalakies".

The General said that "Ethiopia was built and sustained with an iron hard sacrifices and can't be simply undone like something which was cemented like from a sand" and you can't understand about it when you have little to none of that to show off from your side. For some Abiy Ahmed isn't Oromo, Mengistu Hailemariam Ayana isn't Oromo, the Mayor of addis isn't Oromo, Teferi Mekonnen Woldemikael Gudissa isn't Oromo. Look at this another member of the Menga, who is labouring him/herself to tell us that there was an institutionalized "racism" in Ethiopia, ostensibly against the Oromo people, simply because, according to his distorted view, General Tadesse Birru was ill-treated by the system.

And to prove this, he shows a clipping from a text written somewhere and suggests an individual in the government was sharing his view with the victim, but nowhere indicates that this was a government policy to be called an institutionalized act.

According to my reading and many others of the members of the Ethiopian people there is no doubt that General Tadesse Birru was ill-treated and victimized by the system, only because he tried to rectify some of the injustices in the system. But trying to extrapolate that and say that it was an institutionalized policy just defies the common sense of the lay man, simply because those in power were also partly Oromos themselves. An Oromo ill-treated another Oromo or was part of the perpetrators.

Go and prove me wrong that part of the perpetrators were never been the Oromos themselves.
