I can easily cite sources and history to substantiate my claims, Ethiopia as we know it today, was put together by Menelik, using firearms and aid he got from Europe; this is the truth whether you like it or not. The truth doesn't care about feelings or opinions.
Before Menelik, what there was, were warring provinces and competing warlords or leaders, but an unified country under one centralized govt? No, not at all.
As I said before, Tewodros made major moves towards making that a thing, but he perished prior to that, and the tigrayan warlord/emperor/etc, yohannes assisted in his downfall. the same way, menelik was armed by Italy to counter yohannes.

The argument in regards to how oromo look isn't going to work, because we're all from the same race, the sudanese, the oromo, the amara, the afar, somali, etc; hence why we look similar.
Even groups who aren't known for inter-marrying, let's say amara and somali, or tigrayans and somalis, share similar looks; so no, you're not right on that one.
