my take about the palace is very simple

if u putting wax figure museum then u have to put መንጌ፤ መለስ፤ እና የደሳልኝን ምስል

or

u have to divided Ethiopia in to two... one the old Ethiopia and the new Ethiopia the new Ethiopia start in 1991 .. where our people go a new deal and the new Constitution... at that historical point you start from መለስ፤ እና የደሳልኝን ምስል

or dont put it all u want to put it then put all of it.. መንጌ also have the right place in Ethiopia history who destroy the Amhara regime for once and never to come back again ..
