I kinda wonder why suddenly this ashenda has become so much talked about. It is just rural girls wearing grasses and dancing!! It certainly is very childish to argue about who came up with this ritual first..:) ene hulu brQu are claiming everything in the country as theirs while at the same time vying to destroy the very country that has given color to such cultures.

It is not Agew culture either, Agew was part of Tembien Awraja of Tigray, Agew kids used to play with the Tigrayan kids but it never been Agew culture. Tigrayans play Agew dance with them does not mean the Agew culture is Tigray culture. Nothing to do Ashenda with Agew culture.
