Gurage Zone Gov evicted from Weliso. They established office in Welkite. 96% is Gurage.. Qebena claimed it is their city because it was established by Qebena's Imam Injamo on Chaha Gurage land.. Now Qebena collects taxes on half of Welkite. Also is in charge of the security of the city.

Qosye, a aborder town of Ener Gurage with Hadiya and Yem Special Wereda, is now a ghost town. Terrorists from Hadiya killed and beaten residens of the town. They looted shoops and homes. They burnt schools, homes and the town's administrative offices, sometimes in the prezebce of local police and END Commandos.

Once, they organized motorbikes, bajaja and buses in Hosana for more than a week, without any hassel.by Hosana police, they travelled to Qosye and rampaged the city. A large area of the town are no occupied by Hadiya natives. They occupied Gurage lands. Some moved in the houses vacated Gurages who fled the town out of fear for their lives and of their families. Some are newly built on Girage looted by Hadiya natives without legal papers from Gurage. Most ofvthe newly built homes are owned by Hadiyas who jave residence in South Africa.
