Tigrey has to do what it has do to preserve its autonomy as provided by the internationally recognized principle of the right of nations to self-determination.
It also has the right to secede from Ethiopia. There is no treaty it signed to remain in Ethiopia. For that matter, all Ethiopian groups have not signed a treaty to form Ethiopia. They were conquered by bloody wars. They have been mistreated, discriminated, alienated, disfranchised. Milliins have beenb slaughtered. They have the right to hate Ethiopia and separate from it.
In Canada, Alberta provinve wants to separate from Canada because it reasons that it's exploited by the federal government and getting not rnough in a return in reciprocity. This is a good example to show that to separate from oppression, you do not necessarly have to endure msssacres by federal or national governments.
Just stating the principle. It doesn't mean I do not know TPLF is evil an incarnate. This doesn't deny it tplf to assert its right.

In all honesty, there are two heinous criminals at least south of the Mereb river, because that is where war was first ignited: Tigary Woyane and OLF-PP. Both of these criminals are mercenaries, anti-Ethiopian hired by historical enemies of Ethiopia. Both are the mother and father of Article 39, ቤርቤረሰቦች ትርኪምርኪ. They both conscript poor people children for death - OLF-PP has been rounding homeless, street children and illiterate Galla from so-called Galla region and are dying like flies. These captives by Fano shared their agonizing stories, their mothers are pleading to Fano not to send home, else they will send back to fight Amhara and would finally die.
This should not come as a surprise. But one thing is clear, they both cannot continue like this, they are near their end, rejected and dejected by people - their ethnic region collapsing under their feet, their 3rd grade constitution laughed at - only their trolls are cheering before their cry in the funeral procession of ቤርቤረሰቦች ትርኪምርኪ
