ጉራጌ ያገባች የአማራ ሴት

Post by Misraq » 01 Jul 2026, 17:39

Listro wuragays certainly feel that they win a jackpot. By the way marrying Amhara women is a measure of success by many educated and successful elites of Ethiopia.

Meles Zenawi
Abiy Ahmed
Birhanu Nega
Mengistu Hailemariam

The list goes on......

Are all married to Amhara women? Coincidence? Certainly not.

I disagree!

It’s mutually beneficial to get married across ethnic boundaries for many reasons. In fact everyone that I know has an ethnic mix at least remotely. Those who aren’t lucky enough to have such a mix in their genes must be slower & dumber! This is biology, not magic!

Your shi1t head is menustrating instead of your punani

Ask Tesegaye Ararsa, probably birhanu Nega et al.. many counting

They all left their kids and home because they married ቆምጬ lady boy that behave like a man in your video that only agrees to lie on her back for the thing she wants but unruly and inflexible in every other thing.

Everybody says some one can enjoy amhara ሽሌ as far as she get good house, car and lots of money. But at own risk as amhara ladies are incorrigible. Typical examples: lady boy aberech, wurnchiti wurinchila selam the goje, ስም አይጠሬ ተልካሻ and many more. Those amharanized elites made big mistakes and ended up losing it

Lady boy ችራቅ homeless loner with no children or hubby spends 24/7 because is lifeless😂

Fact-checking about inter-ethnic marriage theory in Ethiopia:

--- It is a universal truth that inter-ethnic and interracial marriages have been as old as humanity. However, it is also well recognized that interracial and inter-ethnic marriages were discouraged, particularly in earlier times. Some societies even had strict laws banning such practices. Those cultures with caste groups, even to this day, regard some segments of their society as "untouchables," while calling themselves democratic societies. Thus, such practices should not be overblown in factual analysis. However, for the promotion of cultural integration, it is good to promote them. Let us also equally discourage harmful cultural practices and advance the culture of society.

In the case of Ethiopia, it is better to look at this in three periods: before the Derg regime, during the Derg regime (Mengistu Hailemariam), and after the Derg regime.

a) In the Monarchic Era:

Marriage outside one's own ethnic group was very rare. Even marriage within one's own ethnic group varied by social class; noblemen's sons or daughters married into another noble family. It did not mean that an ordinary farmer's son could not become engaged to a nobleman daughter. If that happened, it represented huge social mobility. Land was the major asset, and those who married into a landlord's family were fortunate.

Besides social class, families seriously looked into the background of the family proposing for marriage from almost every possible angle.

Inter-ethnic marriage mostly occurred in cities, towns, and military camps because those were the available marriage markets. Even then, the rate was perhaps very low because ethnicity and region/province were still the number one factors. Besides that, the culture of food and kitchen skills was also important. For instance, an Amhara man was more likely to marry a Tigray, Agew, or Irob woman than a Gurage woman if he could not find one from his own area. The reason was that the culture of preparing Amhara food (Injera, Wat, Te'la, Tej, bread, etc.) was rare or non-existent among other groups. Even if the man loved the Gurage woman, ሙያ was very important. However, Gurage or other ethnic groups often married Amhara women, among other reasons, because they appreciated the Amhara woman's ሙያ.

However, Amhara noble households in the feudal era had maids from other ethnic groups. Noblemen were rumored to sneak into relationships with these maids and have children with them. The odds of such occurrences were very rare—it is not something to exaggerate as a population-wide statistic.

b) Derg Era (Mengistu Hailemariam)

More than at any other time in the history of the country, inter-ethnic marriage reached its highest peak, largely because of the cultural revolution, the huge military population, national service, high urbanization, and mass mobility. Besides this, urban culture created a more national culture in which people came to know one another and learned to prepare similar dishes.

c) TPLF/OLF Era (Meles Zenawi and Abiy Ahmed)

Inter-ethnic marriage, although not openly banned, was greatly reduced by the ethnic apartheid system and ethnic regionalization. It has almost stopped inter-ethnic marriage; let alone marriage, even social gatherings are increasingly based on ethnic lines.

The horror stories from Gondar, Mai Kadra, Wollega, and Arsi revealed that inter-ethnic married families became victims of genocide, and their children, born to an Amhara father or mother, were not even spared from death.

As much as promoting inter-ethnic marriage is essential, and as much as people want to create uplifting stories, the reality in Ethiopia is discordant with what many would like to see. People are increasingly running away from inter-ethnic marriage in Ethiopia to avoid unnecessary risks to their future.

Selam,

I don't think you read what I wrote. I am not denying the biological benefits of cross breeding. I am just stating that the elites in Ethiopia be it educated, politician or business community all chose to marry Amhara women. I gave examples to that and if you disagree, bring it on the table to discussion.

Also, I share Abere's opinion to some extent. By now, most people started to understand that we don't even have shared values to most ethnics. And shared values is a huge component. For instance, a society that has a deep rooted honesty and traditional value by actually living facts like የተናገሩት ከሚጠፋ የወለዱት ይጥፋ should not mix with a society that sells you for a cheap penny. Else, the good society start to lose its golden traditional values.

A society that respects religious leaders be it Islam, Christian or Waqefenna and address them with respect should not mix with a society that slaps elderly religious figures and dishonores them in public.

Amharas made a big mistake trying to civilize Gallas, Listros, Siltes....etc. the Gamo has similar values to Amharas and can mix without any issue than with listros and Gallas.

Ultimately, Tigeayans argument of some degree of isolation and segregation with certain population was correct. Meles Zenawi was correct when he said what is Axum for Welayta, Gonder for Oromo and Laliballa to Gurage. He was right but we opposed him. These very savages are now hating our very existence. So mixing with them means losing your golden values. I know you are mixed but retained the good values. But many are not fortunate to retain good values.
