Here is my take, sincerely. Take it or leave it.
Eritrea as a nation project is a big failure. You just can’t put it together to function as a country.
Now, you are putting all your hopes in another failed country and the 2nd biggest recipient of US Aid in the world, Egypt. It is not going to work.
Why would Egypt open companies in Eritrea when it can’t do it in Egypt? Where would the resources come from & where would be the market to sell the products? Etc.
That is not the way to do it. It is against your own interests.
I personally think Eritrea is not going to make it. Beyond anything else, demography is the enemy of Eritrea.
Your best hope is to have a brainstorming moment of finding out the right way to do it. Research it, buy help abroad to find out what is best for you. Stay away from countries with agendas.
Get into a serious negotiation with your brothers in Ethiopia.learn a take and give method of concessions in negotiations. Secure peace, market and prosperity through proper negotiations.

Egypt lost $10 billion dollars in Suez Canal revenues when Yemeni Houthi attacked ships crossing the Bab al-Mandab strait in 2024.
Egypt cannot afford to take additional losses in revenue if the Houthi start attacking ships on the Red Sea once again. The only power the Yemeni Houthis fear the most is Horn of Africa's sole military super-power Eritrea that packs a deadly punch above its weight.
Therefore, it makes perfect economic sense for Egypt to invest $10 billion dollars in Eritrea in exchange for security guarantees to keep the Bab al-Mandab strait open. Egypt could careless about the Ethiopian dam. It's only concern is the Bab al-Mandab strait.
