Simplicity, elegance, beauty - ጉራጌ የነካው ነገር ሁሉ

Nati is a fool. As fool as as Melaku Bireda. Melaku was beaten by unknown assailants in Addis after releasing a song for Oromo at a time when Amara and Oromo are genociding each other.
Both qelqalas. Going into tribal conflict zones and sing for one, especially telling them to love Ethiopia or we are all one people, is a foolish political messenger. Especially for a Gurage, wrongly percerived as "the little Amara" because of few bad apples like Birhanu Nega or Yacob H.mariam.

Misraqwa
To state Gojjam used to be a land of the Gafats and its subclan Bezamo is only making a historically true statment. And its not irrendetism as this is not a political movement to annex it back to Gurage. It's just a statment of truth that existed. Any Gojjam could have Gafat roots, God forbid you are.
Gonder Abyssinia came to Gafat admiring their craftmanship, light complexion and tallness with added healthy muscular build as meat and dairy lovers as a traditional food rather than grain such as teff. There is no historical record indicating Gafats were conquered by war from Gondar. Gonder saw Gafat as superior to Amara in almost all measures in craftmanship, in light skin complexion, in tallness, and in protiein-rich diet that made them muscular.

Again, these Wurages do not know the difference between what they are posting and what they intrinsically believe. The singer and the song they posted, which are a hybrid of the lost Wurage language and Amharic, are another version of “Das-tal” by Teddy Afro. The singer’s rhythm and message warn against the destruction of the sacred tri-colored Ethiopian flag and the cruelty inflicted upon innocent people by tribal thug leaders.
It is reminiscent of the Wurage villages that were pillaged, burned, looted, and massacred by tribal thugs of OLF-PP and others; even women carrying empty water pots died of thirst before they could sip a single droplet of water - a blessed thing one should at least taste before death separates them from life.
Contradictory to this, these Wurages work hard to support OLF-PP, which is doing exactly what the singer speaks against. Another contradiction revealed is their lamentation about the golden era of the Emperors and Kings. One can truly see how much misery, exclusion, discrimination, and loss of dignity the Wurage suffered during the TPLF and OLF-PP eras.
Simply because these paid trolls bark here for the kickbacks they receive from their Gala masters does not mean ordinary Wurages - chased like dogs within the compounds of sacred church grounds - are living decent lives.
In all honesty, the Wurage are among the most endangered tribes. It is hard to even believe such a tribe exists - a tribe with nine or more different languages, unable to communicate with one another, seeming more like fiction than reality. Historically, this was due to the 15th-century Gala invasion, or the Aba-Geda virus, which overpowered the cultural identity of the Wurage.
For instance, Biranu Nega is more Gala than Wurage, Horus is more Gala than Wurage, and the same goes for all those who once pretended otherwise but were later revealed to be acting exactly like the 15th-century Gala invaders.
The source of this problem is nowhere to be found except within Wurage culture and among the people themselves. Wurage society needs a major cultural transformation, something that is severely lacking today. It must abandon the culture of opportunism as a shortcut to personal gain. People should never become weapons, tools, or servants of evil forces, because eventually those same evil forces will come after them as well.
An injustice committed somewhere else is ultimately an injustice everywhere. Wurages must also learn the value of dignity, even when preserving that dignity demands sacrifice, including the sacrifice of life itself. Little by little, they must learn the natural right to self-defense instead of endlessly whining and blaming others for their suffering.

In adfition to their craftmanship, they were warriors. Abyssinia sought for their help to overthrow the Zagwe monarchy. They fought Imam Ahmed el-Ghazi in all of Gurage, Kembata and Hadiya. There are now Gafat villages in both Kembata and Hadiya. There is a huge region of Gurage in Chaha called Gafat, west of Welkite City. These are the Gafat soldiers who settled where they were stationed and could not return to Gafat after Abyssinia was defeated by the Imam.

Amara from the north flocked south to Gafat for land following Christian missionaries. Immigrants like the devilish zionists of Israel to Palestine, with contacts with the powerful Gonder, they spewed toxic religious divisions among the Gafats. Muslims and traditional god believers were persecuted as hater of Christ and Christians, i.e. Amaras. Churches did not preach in Gafat language. Children were given Amara names. Just the same as the churches have been doing in Gurage. As the then Gafat, we have now neftenya settlers and Ortho churches who hate our language, our foods and the jobs we do to earn a living.
Ethiopia is mind-boggled why Amara spews so so much hatred on Gurage. But I know why. It's to weaken it to its knees so that it does not have the strength to resist plunder and destruction of itself.
