Mengistu also refused to compromise and accommodate eprp and liberation fronts because he viewed them as enemies of unity of Ethiopia. He did not care consequences of the rigidity of his narrative for the entirety of Ethiopia. All that is there to do is to decentralize the power accumulated in Aratkilo as simple as that. A working federation, not just nominal. Sadly, eprdf also failed to offer a functioning federation.
