I can't forgive you for your tasteless q*mata jokes on working people, on trade and economic services Gurages provide to needy Ethiopians at very difficult and trying conditions.
FYI, smimne(Kistane) is tesmamanem in Chaha= we agreed in English.
Teddy lied on Gurage. Gurage was conquered by bloody wars of neftenyas for 15 years, in 11 campaigns, in which nearly a million Gurages were slaughtered by Menelick's Italy and French supplied modern weapons. It was a holocuast of Northeast Africa between 1875 and 1889. No Menelick wars against any ethnic lasted that long, consumed Gurage's and Menelick's material anf human resources. Many Gurage elders rather avoid to talk about it.
I mean to say Gurage never agreed to be Ethiopian, to be a Shewan.
Our biggest victories were three:
In 2 separate battles in which barefoot illiterate Menelick himself participated, we defeated him and ran for himself as a freaking trespassing dog would with his tail between his legs.
The 3rd Gurage victory was when we killed the son of Menelick and Gobena, Dejazmatch Wedajo by our Silte hero Aliyu.
