How many clicks already?

Post by DefendTheTruth » 25 Apr 2026, 09:22

I saw somewhere the clicks (views) Tedros Kassahun's recent music video has garnered so far has reached 100 Million, an impressive number for an Ethiopian musician that I know of, I have to admit.

If the trajectory keeps on the same line, then it can reach more than 100s of millions in less than a year, or even the Billion mark.

Then comes the decisive question: then what?

According to Horsu's ambition, now it is the time to drive out Oromo (Oromuma) government from the "palace" and the singer is qualified to do the job, an attempt that has failed so far even by deploying the most sophisticated modern war weapons in the last over 8 years or so, using well trained commandos, uprisings of all sorts and many more. The man is a political imbecile and will never get riper, even after spending the good part of his adult life of over 70 years in the business.

The man can never get the simple message all along: if Ethiopia (and/or her government) were to be teared apart by a mere song of a simple vocalist singer, then she were not worth of defending her. That would have been too fragile to try to hold together by defending.

In Ethiopia that we are trying to defend the change of government should only come through the ballot box, not the barrel of the gun, or mob stirred disturbances of any form.

Ethiopia has charted he path for the future on this simple guiding principle, it is in the interest of all stakeholders to come into terms with it!

Horsu and co. still try to dream of driving a government that is not in accordance with their specific tastes out and replace with the one they may feel caters to their old and outdated world outlook. Typical reactionaries!

To be more fair to their view of the matter, yes the preceding government of TPLF was driven out of the place mostly by means of disturbances. The TPLF government felt to have been encircled in a foreign land and decided to withdraw its base from the capital of the nation to a more reliable base of its own root, Mekele in Tigray to entrench itself over there and fight its way back to the capital of the nation, to regain power. This is what we have witnessed just before few years and not my creation or imagination.

But failing to understand the difference between the current government and that of TPLF is only for the political imbecile of the types of Horsu.

Oromo centered government has no place to run to by withdrawing from the nation's capital, unlike TPLF. It has to fight back to the end, else it will be encircled by the Oromo people itself and finished off while on the run! The Oromo people's simple question will be "where are you running to?"

I don't think by any stretch of my imagination that it will come to that scenario, if the Oromo government was to face the same fate as to the TPLF, then its only option would be driving out those it deemed its opponents before being driven out! አልሞት ባይ ተጋደላይ!

The good news is that this will not happen, I am pretty sure in my guess. That is why the demand of winning government posts should come from the ballot box, open to everybody in the country, without any favoritism to any side. This will be the guarantor of the future of the nation, not only that of the current government.

Any singer can release music videos of any sort and thereby keep appealing to the raw emotions of the mob in one's fan base but decisions on the future of the nation are based on argumentative deliberations of the government and other stakeholders in their round-tables discussions.

That is where Ethiopia is heading to!

End of the story!

DTT

This must be the longest article you ever posted in this forum! You are at the intense stage of denial. Ethiopia is dying not because Teddy Afro said so but because it is an artificial collection of nations who abhor each other. This forum in fact mirrors the reality. Ethiopia started to die when TPLF crafted an ethnically based federal system. Today, a group of incompetent Oromo kids is overseeing its denouement.
