It's not foolish but it is an outright outrageous. Has conspired with the oppressive Ethiopian State and groups it sponsors to disintegrate it into smaller and smaller units of itself in a vertically downward rollercoaster compared to its late 19th century solidarity to stop Menelick's annexation of Gurage to Shewa for 15 years between 1875-1889. It also lost vast tracts of territory in its northern borders with Oromo. It's also losing its language and history at a very alarming speed to Amharic and adopting northern Ethiopian history as its own in claiming the guardman of Ethiopian unity.

Ethiopia is not worth losing self for. Learn from Gafats. Warriors sought for every Abyssinian wars. They fought against the Zagwe monarchy to help Yekuno Amlak usurp their throne. They fought against Imal Ahled el-Ghazi in all.southwest Ethiopia from Arsi; Sidama to Gurage.
