ንግግራቸው በራስ የመተማመን አቅማችን በጣም አነስተኛ ወይም ከነጭራሹ አለመኖሩን ነው የሚያመለክተው። <<የራስን ዕድል በራስ መወሰን>> የሚባለውን ነገር በአፍ ካልሆነ በቀር በተግባር አናውቀውም።

ሌሎች ህዝቦች እኛ ኢትዮጵያውያን ማድረግ ያቃተንን ነገር ሲያደርጉ ማየት እንደ ትዕቢት እንቆጥረዋለን፣ ነገር ግን ጥልቁ ምስጢሩ በአእምሮ ጠንካራ የሆኑ ሰዎች በራሳቸው በመተማመን ያሰቡበት ደረጃ ላይ ይደርሳሉ። በራስ መተማመን ትዕቢት አይደለም።
