Until you came home in 1994 and caused havoc in the next 6 years, TPLF had no desire to break Gurage apart.

You aligned yourself with monarckist family such as Hailu Shawel. You opposed the free land distribution to those who use it long advocated by the Ethiopian students union and for which many died. You advocated for the privatization of Ethiopian lands. You opposed the self-determination of nations. If this has to be excercised, you said, some nations do not qualify for it. Who you did have in mind was later revealed when you opposed the Gurage demand for its region in 2023. You even dismissed its most vocal advocate from your Party's membership and wrote a letter to this effect to the Ethiopian Security agency following which Degefe was arrested for a year without charge.

TPLF appointed Ambassador Wedajo, a Gurage, as the Chair of the Committee to draft the 1995 Constitution of Ethiopia. TPLF appointed Dr.Fekede
Gedamu, a Gurage, as the President of Ethiopia.

Weliso, Sodo Jida, Seden Sodo, Dacha and Malima were in Gurage. Silte was in Gurage. In the 2000, all left Gurage by TPLF organized referendums.

TPLF's collective punishment against Gurage in order to punish you only hurt Gurage, not you. But, you are the cause. Without your provocations, without your desire to unseat TPLF and reverse all the reforms such as affirmatove actions for rural Ethiopia, for women and Muslims, for return of lands to royal and private owners from the masses, TPLF would not have disintegrated Gurage.

You are the primary cause for the disintegration of Gurage. Gurage, rejoice!! Your enemy son is no more.

Listro Dama, I scanned the comments section of the FB post you made. Seems to me that all the people who commented are listros and they are evenly divided. There is no majority concesus on Birr Amtu Nega. That shows to me the very thing I believe about Gurages Low IQ nature and indicisiveness

Good God! I am tired of teaching p*mps how to be accurate and minimize guesswork. You can't start argument by saying , 'it seems to me'.

Many who support him could be supporters of the the Crown Council of Ethiopia whose client organizations are the Gurage News Network and International Gurage Association. These are deeply Christian extremist organizations in Gurage comparable to Moa Tewahdo and Qidusan Mahber of Amara which are said to be parents of Fano.

Those who opposed him state that he aligned with dictator Abiy Ahmed of PP who has students' blood in his hands or because he crafted anti-Muslim students education policies.

None of them acknowledge the destructions TPLF caused to Gurage in attempts to contain his backward and reactionary political movements.
