Crown Council of Ethiopia recruited a large segment of Gurage elites
They have established their own Face Book news network called the Gurage News Netwok. The stars of their feature essays are the generals, dejazmachs, fitawraris of the Menelick and Haile Sellasie regimes. They are presented as past heroes of Gurage. Those who are still alive are given honorary names such Agaz or Abegaz.
