So he bought him for two black slaves, then he did not accept the pledge of anyone after that until he asked: 'Is he a slave?'

Muhammad interpreted the appearance of a black woman with unkempt hair as a sign of a plague. Sahih al-Bukhari 7039: Salim bin Abdullah narrated from his father about the dream of the Prophet who said: "I saw a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Al-Madinah, until she stood in Mahya'ah, and it is Al-Juhfah.

We really can't blame Ethiopia for not conducting a census for over 100 years. The 2020 U.S. Census cost approximately $15 billion dollars.

Now imagine a poor country like Ethiopia, where 97% of its budget comes from foreign aid, where can a dirt poor country like that can find that kind of money to conduct a census? Guesstimating the number of people in Ethiopia, and inflating the guesstimated numbers for the purpose of obtaining the lion's share of all international aid going into Africa, makes a perfect sense.
