Why is it the OPDO rank and file not putting a restriction on PM Abiy when, multiple times, he openly engages in strategy aiming at people fighting against people?
In his speech especially, he makes mentions of incidents and twists and presents them as if people have conflicting interests: Oromo vs. Amhara, Amara vs. Tigri, Tigri vs. Eritrea, Oromo vs. Somalia etc etc
This’s dangerous rhetoric that may lead to bloodshed since not everyone dismisses it. I have at most confidence in the people but blind followers and opponents may fall for this.
OPDO officials must rise to prevent this danger. Desperate Abiy needs to be checked for sake of the country and for sake of OPDO officials themselves. If they don’t, they’ll be held responsible by future government.
