እነዚህ ሴቶች ስራቸው ግርድና እንደመሆኑ በአረቦችና እነሱን በሚያገለግሉ ሌሎች ዜጎች በተደጋሚ ለፃታ ትንኮሳ ተጋላጭ ሆነዋል። ለመመለስ በቅተው የተመለሱም ልጅ ሳድወልዱ ግዜ ያመልጣቸዋል። መጥተው በመሃል የወለዱም ትዳራቸው በርቀት ፍቅር ምክንያት ይፈርሳል። ልጆቻቸውም ጥሩ ዜጋ የመሆን እድል የላቸውም።

በሕወሃት ግዜ የትግሬ ሴት የዚህ ገፈት ቀማሽ አልነበረችም። አሁን ግን ቀሪው ማህበረሰብ የሄደበትን ሰቆቃ ተቋዳሽ ሆናለች። ለግርድናም ትሰደዳለች። የኦሮሞ ሴት በፊት ለግርድና ትሰደድ ነበር። አሁን ግን ከሞላ ጎደል እንደ ድሮው ለግርድና ብዙ አትዳረግም። ቀሪው የኢትዬጵያ ማህበረሰብ የወለዳቸው እንስቶች ግን ከመንግስቱ ሃይለማርያም ከስልጣን መውረድ ግዜ ጀምሮ ለግርድና ይሸጣሉ።

ሌላው ችግር እህትን ምርትን በዚህ መልክ ማጣት የማይገደው ወንድ ነኝ እያለ ወንድነት የላለው ማህበረሰብ ብዙ ነው። ሁሉም እንደ ሰላም ቢሰማው እዳው ገብስ ነበር። ለውጥም ይመጣ ነበር።
