Because he felt he defeated Tigres successfully and wanted to defeat Amhara next before becoming militarily powerful. Thus, TPLF used cheap trick against Tigres telling them to take over Amhara territory of Raya Korem-Alamata and Welqait. Until Tigres stopped about these territory, Abiy Ahmed will feast over them.
