Who benefits from the chaos in Amhara region?

Post by wazzupdog » 13 Feb 2026, 13:16

Shabia

By tying down Abiyot Ahmed’s forces in Amhara region, Shabia gains breathing room and strategic relief.

Woyanus

Their primary goal is to reclaim Amhara territories they fallaciously claim as Western Chigray. If Abiyot Ahmed’s forces are bogged down in Amhara region, they may withdraw troops from Welkait, Tegede, and Telemet, enabling Woyanus to retake the areas and reconnect with their militants in Sudan.

Oromuma

The conflict began three years ago when the Oromuma regime moved to disband Amhara’s special forces. Until then, the region had been among the country’s most stable. Abiyot Ahmed appears to have calculated that weakening Amharas would ensure control, but the move backfired. Nevertheless, the Oromuma leadership continues to view Amharas as a major threat, and ongoing instability and economic decline in the region serve its interests, continuing the marginalization seen under Woyanus rule.

The best way forward is to reconcile with Abiy! We need peace not conflict!

First, Abiyot Ahmed Ali needs to reconcile with himself. He is the root cause of the many conflicts in the country. Does he see himself as a leader of a country or a leader of an expansionist tribal movement? He needs to choose one or the other, and soon.

The winner is very clear: it is Amhara Fano. The following reasons alone are more than enough:

a) Fano’s only source of weapons is capturing as many as possible. Therefore, it has been necessary to raid OLF-PP forces and militias to obtain such critical supplies. Fano has acquired a significant number of weapons of various types. Unlike TPLF, Shabia, and OLF-ENDF, which obtained weapons through state budgets, Fano has earned them through sacrifice and combat by capturing them in battle.

b) Fano has taken control of about 18 districts in Gondar, which is substantial, and is now governing those areas after OLF-PP/servant Be’Aden was removed.

c) The fact that Fano was able to withstand more than 21 drone strikes in a single city (something OLF-ENDF did not experience to this extent in Mekele or Tigray) demonstrates that Fano has achieved a level of military strategic sophistication. With a plan to acquire anti-drone capabilities, any enemy of Amhara would be easier to defeat.

d) Fano disproved what it considers to be the repeated claims of Abiy Ahmed, who stated that Fano had been defeated in his recent drama.

e) All opponents of Amhara have now learned that Amhara’s movement is organized and moving forward

A big NO. Way too late to execute that kind of political gymnastics. He had a well supported chance 6 years ago. He blew it. He is not going to get it back. Both PP and TPLF have no future in Ethiopia. Allied or separate they are not going to do much except prolonging the civil war.
We pray for the people of Tigray and Oromia to wake up and decimate the duo mafia entities.

Abiy is does not care if the whole Ethiopians are perished to keep his power. That is why we need a peaceful end for this unnecessary conflict!

Agame almaze/misraq/deqi-alula....

Not surprised you want perpetual chaos in Amhara region. It serves your wicked interest.

Qizenam Axum the yoyo woyanus

Yes, the Oromuma leader is not a peaceful man. For the past 8 years he's been fanning the flames of conflict through out the country. But he has a good partner in your woyanus.
