Egypt is sitting on the largest aquifer in Africa, larger than that of Libya which meets more than the household and industrial needs of Libya forever. Salty but desalinated. Egypt wants to avoid the cost.

Also Egypt has access to the Mediterranean and Red sea waters. Salty water as aquifer water; needs to be desalinated before consumption. Egypt wants to avoid the cost.

Saudi Arabia, Israel, UAE all desalinate the waters of Mediterranean and Red seas. Egypt can do that to avoid wars and blood shed. It's Egypt's choice.

Ethiopia reserves the rights to build the Blue Nile Dam and more, and manage it itself independently within the parameters of the International Law on cross-border rivers. The only thing Ethiopia has to do is to "do no harm intentionally", "update" upper riverine countries on maintenance and other such activities. Ethiopia is not obligated by the same international law to suffer its uses during a time of low river water level for the benefit of the upper river countries. If all have to suffer equal misfortunes due to low river level due to drought, this is just magnanimity on the part of Ethiopia. Otherwise, no law obliges it to suffer the consequences of low rain equal to Sudan and Egypt.

This above is the sketch of the law on international rivers. The Egyption challenge on Ethiopia's right is because of the weak and precarious political and economic situations. If Abiy was not a war monger and lavish spender, if he did not cave in to Egypt when he came to power, if he did not abandon uniting with kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Congo Burundi and Rwanda form which White Nile comes from, he would have overpowered Egypt. How he expect El_Burhan of Sudan to support him when he arms and supports RSF?

Abiy Ahmed is a bozzo.

Dark Energy,
Since you are Egypt's slave, you know very little about the history and psychology of Egypt. Egypt has been ruled by 18 different colonial power for about 2000 years and Egypt never fought to liberate itself. The rest is history. If Egypt ever tried to fight us, she know we can punish Sudan and totally stop the Blue Nile force them face the consequence of their stupidity.

fast forward to 2026

Unemployed ugly oldie Kistane slave of the Galla tribes,

Egypt has a great ally in Mr. Tramp. The little twerp Galla who happens to be your master is just the third world p.imp who is slavish to his Emirati masters. Now, President Trump has switched his focus to the water conflict between Egypt and Ethiopia. President Tramp says what he means and means what he says. Egypt has a lot to say on how water could be shared equally and equitably among the basin countries and Ethiopia itself. BTW, your little Kistane As….zzz does not even have any respect among Ethiopians. You are nothing but a slave no only to the Galla tribes, but to many innumerable Ethiopian Ethnic groups as well. Idiot. :P
