I drafted this post yesterday and I think it still makes sense.

Trump will get Egypt to mobilize Arab support to the to Tump's Gaza Peace Plan.

Egypt will get a binding agreement on GERD which means GERD will serve as Egypt's supertanker / water reserve during drought seasons for helping on Trump Gaza Peace Plan. He demanded for a “predictable water releases during droughts and prolonged dry years for Egypt and the Sudan.”

Ethiopia wants to get Assab as a price for signing a binding agreement on GERD. But Trump has offered to sacrifice Pretoria Agreement / return of Tigrayan IDPs to their home in Western Tigray for Abiy Ahmed Ali to sign on the dotted line.

But does that mean Tigrayans will abandon their homes and accept Trump's decision?


Remember Isaias said he is not worried about Ethiopian invasion in his last interview? Remember he started talking positively about Pretoria Agreement?




Remember US Ambassador to Ethiopia never mentioned implementation of Pretoria Agreement as a condition for peace?
