A very simple logic demonstrating the right of an access to a public good
My late parents used to have a plot of land for farming (agriculture) which effectively surrounds a water spring used by the locals for their daily consumption. It was a common understanding for my parents and all the locals that my parents should allow the locals an access to the spring for fetching water for their daily consumption. My parents left aside a foot-way (side walk) for the locals to reach the spring from their own plot of land. This was not because my parents were exceptionally generous to the locals but a commonly understood imperative that they allowed the locals an access to the water-spring to fetch the water of their daily needs. There was no mediation needed to do that, it came as a natural imperative, specially to preserve the harmonious co-existence of the community at the grass-root level. If they (my parents) didn't allow and opted to sow their seeds all around the spring (blocking the locals), then the locals would have risen up and revolted against the family, with all means they have at their disposal, including the use of force.
The spring belongs to all the people, it is a public good, the land surrounding the spring belonged to a family, there is no way to deny the community from accessing the public good and still assume to preserve a peaceful co-existence.
There are many more ample examples of such an arrangement in the community I grew up in, like a road (walk-way) to the local market, a road to a church (services), fetching water, or any other public goods that would require an owner of a land plot to relinquish ownership rights over the plot of land to allow the local community an access to the intended target.
This is as natural as the air we breath, Shabia or any other body can't change this natural law, never ever!
An open sea, the so called international water, is a public good, open for everybody, with no one having an exclusive right over it. Every nation state needs to access the international body of water (open sea) and the way to reach there can never be denied to anybody and still expect a peace can prevail!
It is in the interest of international or regional peace granting the sea access right to Ethiopia!
This as simple as the air you breath to live!

Good luck PP DDT.
Violating international laws and sovereignty of nations is not as easy as viokating the right to peace and life of subjects of Ethiopia such as Gurage thru the agencies of Hadiya, Mareqo and Qebena terrorists.
Disgrace, dis-honor and isolation is guaranted for Ethiopia.

Before you can dream of about others violating your rights, you should take care of the rights of others extremely cautiously , else the others will heat you back harder and attribute it to the right of self-defense, which is warranted in all forms of legislation.
Can't you see this simple logic in my elaboration in the opening post?

Tell me how a Gurage farmer or business who is being murdered, his/her house burnt, their business looted or schools and school children killed by state enabled terrorists from Hadiya, Mareqo and Qebena have had the authority to implement self-determination of these but abused their authority. What would be the self-determination right of Hadiya on Gurage peasants and traders, Mareqo while holding 11 Gurage villages in its Wereda, Qebena while holding 16 Gurage villages out of its 23, to take from Gurage? Tell me big ignoramus.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑07 Jan 2026, 10:03How many times should I repeat myself before you can comprehend the about of the things you scribble here?Dama wrote: ↑07 Jan 2026, 08:06Good luck PP DDT.

Re: A very simple logic demonstrating the right of an access to a public good
Eritrea did not refuse us access to the sea. In fact, they honored the 2018 agreements signed for granting Ethiopia full access to Eritrean ports by spending millions of dollars of their own money building a new road connecting the Assab Port to the Ethiopian border to facilitate Ethiopia's unfettered access to the sea.
However, our Ethiopian leaders knew all along that they had no desire for a sea access, but rather for UAE's ownership of Eritrean ports, so they thought they "outsmarted" Eritrea into spending millions of dollars building the new road which they plan to use to carry out their UAE-funded invasion of Eritrea.
We all know that, any attack on Eritrea will spell the end of our country Ethiopia as a nation. There are some Ethiopian war-mongers who find comfort in thinking that, if Ethiopia dissolves like the former Yugoslavia, they could declare their their own KIlil's independence. But what these clowns don't realize is that, our past and present Ethiopia history is rife with civil wars that we may never get the same luxury as the newly independent Balkan republics, and our fate could be the same as the stateless Gypsies trapped in eternal limbo.

Has the alleged murder got anything with the topic free access to a public good?
How is the "killing" in Gambella going on in the last few days, we were not updated in the last few days?

That is exactly why you as*holes should not pursue war with foreign countries where you have no right to defend or protect what's not yours at the same time sponsoring terrorism against citizens.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑07 Jan 2026, 15:49Has the alleged murder got anything with the topic free access to a public good?

Re: A very simple logic demonstrating the right of an access to a public good
Ethiopia forfeited its privilege to have access to Eritrean ports when it started making inflammatory remarks that threaten Eritrean sovereignty. You have your low IQ to blame for finding yourself at the mercy of Egypt that now controls Djibouti's port. I love it!
