Why SODO is some times Kistane == Amhara and 90% Oromuma

Extensive Intermixing: Despite periods of warfare, there has been significant peaceful coexistence, intermarriage, and cultural blending. Many Oromo people peacefully intermarried with the Kistane Gurage, and many Kistane adopted Oromo names and language, and vice-versa.

Prominent Examples: Historical figures, such as Ras Gobana Dacche (a renowned Oromo general) and his Kistane Gurage wife, and the mother of Emperor Haile Selassie, had mixed Oromo and Kistane Gurage ancestry, highlighting the deep historical ties between some elite families of both groups.

Shared Customs: Some Oromo clans, such as the Jida and Abado, have adopted traditional Gurage customs and are now almost indistinguishable from them in custom or tradition. Some people from the border areas may even identify as both Oromo and Gurage due to this extensive history of interaction and shared heritage.
