Re: Political Poverty in Ethiopia in the past 50+ years✅

Dama,

Those whom God loves in a unique way often face the temptations of Satan, yet in the end they triumph. God loved Adam and Eve. Though the jealous and evil Satan tested them and they failed, they repented, and God sent His only Son, who broke the power of Sheol (hell) and set them free.

God also loved Abraham. First, God Himself tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son Isaac, but God spared Isaac and provided a ram instead. Later, Abraham faced many challenges from non-believers. The people of S<odom and G0morrah stand as examples of those who faced God’s wrath, while Abraham was protected and delivered. There are many such accounts.

Nations, places, and people who have a true connection with God are often tested more than others. This is why, in Ethiopia, jealous and evil forces working through some individuals have caused chaos.

I have seen enough. Heard enough. I should begin mourning Ethiopia damned by devils in a cyclical oppressions to suffer for eternity in a permanent purgatory.

Abere I share two points with you and the other person you are responding to.
1. As you said there is a spiritual component to what is going on in that country. No question about that if you are a attentive or practicing christian; you understand it. When you speak the truth about the authorities in power in Ethiopia, a fourth evil dimension opens attacking you at night and you may have to spend quite a time fighting reading the bible and praying. Well, it was being rumored, TPLF came to addis after slaughtering a donkey with a witch!! We heard about ቆሪጥ in the past. And some of those in power clearly stated they had a prophecy to come to power and believed to be unshakable! I know some one may say it is superstition but I wish it were. When you see the level of animosity among the three big ethnics of the country, specially the Tigray and Oromo spoilers, the ethnic hate, the hate even on this forum, you understand this not a simple thing and come to believe it has a spiritual component. Let me not stretch it further!
2. Many of us always dreamed of a country that treats its citizen well and fully or quasi democratic. A country proud of diverse expression but unified. I don’t think that is going to happen in may age if it happens. So, I feel the same way and may be bury my mouth in the sand, leave the forum as participant and bless the country that stretched its hand out for me!!
