Birratu Naga's anti-peace educational regulations

Post by Dama » 22 Nov 2025, 18:02

He is causing instability for Abiy Ahmed's PP throne. He must have forgetten that he squating in the government of the PP. He comes from the Citizen's Party. On a borrowed portfolio such entitled autonomy? He has become a rubble rouser.
Since he has became the MoE portfolio:

1. Documented evidences show the quality of education went down. Much fewer students pass national examinations such Grades 8 and 12.
2. Religious conflicts in schools in Gurage and AA caused fatalities, injuries, property destructions and imprisonment of students
3. Axum school and Dilla University barred female students from campus because they chose to wear veils required by Quran.
4. He set national exams on eid el-fitir days, the day of celebration for the end of the Ramadan fast.
5. He disallowed Muslim students from praying within colleges and universities
5. Without being a law legislated by parliament, he announced he was going to force university students to go for a national service a year before they graduate at their own expenses.

May be he violated more freedom laws Ethiopian constitution allows for the excercise of freedom of religion for Ethiopians.

I am sure that if you have seen his PhD thesis, you would laugh at the silliness of it.
That is if you have even a little bit of common sense that which I doubt you have. An economics phd on edir, equb and ngo. This is your liq, discoverer of new knowledge on the economics of edirs, equbs and ngos.
A high school graduate would have made a more challenging choice.
Not to rock the religious boat in Ethiopia is everyone's responsibility, especially so when you are an education minister. You got to be a brainless moron otherwise. Ethiopians, both Christians and more of Muslims are already hurt. The cumulative effect of this hurt will topple your PP tyranny.

Wait and see. Mark my words. When the boat rocks, stay home for your own safety.
