Why? If you are an honest person, you know the answer.
I have observed the ranking military men and women around the world in general and in Africa in particular. There one thing stood out in me, that is I have never seen the Eritrea generals any kind of star or any ዝባዝንኬ on their shoulders, NONE. Why? Not only that most Generals in Africa are not only out of shape but right down obese. What is even more intriguing is Ethiopia has the worst military quality yet; they have a 5 star Filed marshal. Field Marshal my foot. So, what is the reason for Eritreans not to display their ranking?

Are you comparing ሻዕብያ "generals" against ኦነግ "generals"? Both ሻዕብያ and ኦነግ are rebels and do not conform the standard definitions; neither of their rebel leaders are ruling a country. Rebel ሻዕብያ occupied Eritrea province ;and rebel ኦነግ occupied the rest of the 13 provinces - no constitution and no government.

"A constitution serves as the foundational legal document for a state, outlining its governmental structure and defining the rights and responsibilities of its citizens. While many nations adopt a single, comprehensive written document for this purpose, some countries operate without such a unified text. This approach to constitutional law shapes how their governments function and how individual liberties are protected. However, Some countries don’t have a single written constitution but follow what’s called an uncodified or unwritten constitution. This means their system of governance is based on a combination of laws, documents, court decisions, and long-standing traditions, rather than a single official text. The United Kingdom, San Marino, New Zealand, Canada, Sweden, and Israel are examples of countries with unwritten constitution." I forgot to add Ethiopia.Abere wrote: ↑19 Nov 2025, 13:05Are you comparing ሻዕብያ "generals" against ኦነግ "generals"?
