War-torn Ethiopia doesn't have military equipment

1970s Military Truck.

War-torn Ethiopia is extremely poor in military equipment, what Ethiopia has is few discarded, outdated Soviet Union-era military equipment and two second hand Russian fighter jets, nothing else.

War-torn Ethiopia is under a total of the United States and the European Union unofficial arms embargo that prohibits the import of conventional arms from weapon manufacturing countries around the world, China for its part has declined to sell its military equipment to war-torn Ethiopia.

In these uncertain times and as the demand for critical minerals continues to rise globally, Somalia has become the new frontier where major countries (the US, China and the EU) are vigorously competing with one another for political influence and for Somalia's vast untapped natural resources, they are also competing with one another to be the main security partner for Somalia.

Unlike war-torn Ethiopia, which is the most populous landlocked country in the entire world and which will eventually cease to exist as we know it today very soon, Somalia’s natural resources, its resource-rich massive coastline and the commercially enviable strategic location in Africa give it immense geopolitical importance, That is why the Western world diplomats are frantically flocking to Mogadishu to secure Somalia’s critical minerals that are indispensable for some of the most important manufacturing industries in the world.

War-torn Ethiopia’s ambassador should be summoned to provide explanation regarding this map

Gallas provocative behavior.

The so called Ethiopia's state-controlled media has no right to draw a line on a Somalia map without Somalia's government consent, It is a form of provocation and therefore, Somalia should summon war-torn Ethiopia’s ambassador to provide explanation regarding the map in the image above, It should not be ignored.

Somalia must always keep an eye on Gallas & the so called Ethiopia's state-controlled media propaganda, Galla are caged scavengers who will not live in peace next to Somalis.

Djibouti port.

The so called Ethiopia's state-controlled media must also stop using Djibouti port video & images without Djibouti's government prior consent, what the low IQ Gallas are doing is irresponsible.

In December 2021, the European Union launched the Global Gateway, a €300 billion infrastructure investment strategy to build sustainable and secure connections in the digital, energy and transport sectors to boost Europe's competitiveness and supply-chain security across the world, However, this turned out to be merely empty rhetoric.

The European Union isn't interested in investing in war-torn Ethiopia but it will consider providing some wheats, biscuits & other emergency food aid and pay lip service to war-torn Ethiopia, The Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide is expected to travel to Paris, France next month, (France or Belgium, I don't remember).

Lawless war-torn Ethiopia, this miserable entity so-called Ethiopia has no future, Terrorism at its finest.

And by the way, the World Bank's latest report says war-torn Ethiopia’s poverty rate is increasing to 43 percent in 2025 due to civil war, lack of natural resources and mental retardation.

War-torn Ethiopia is a done deal, It will split along ethnic lines and disintegrate into more than 85 poverty stricken independent states very soon, no doubt about it, war-torn Ethiopia's future is bleak.

While panicked Eritrea is busy spreading anti-Djibouti propaganda and rewriting Djibouti history to convince gullible Ethiopians that Ethiopia leased Djibouti to France for 100 years, Gallas are busily courting Afar-Eritreans as a bargaining chip in negotiations for Red Sea outlet/ownership.

Armed Men Kill More than 20 Civilians in Oromia Region

October 23, 2025

More than 20 civilians were killed by armed men on Sunday in Oromia, an Ethiopian region that has been enduring attacks from armed groups for several years, two local civil servants told AFP on Wednesday.

Africa’s second most populous country, home to some 100 million people and multiple ethnic groups, is suffering multiple armed conflicts.

Oromia, which surrounds the capital Addis Ababa, has seen clashes since 2018 between federal forces and the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) — designated a “terrorist organisation” by authorities — and peace talks have made no progress.

The traditional “self-defence” Fano militia of the Amhara ethnic group — which mostly operates in the nearby Amhara region — have also been carrying out attacks in Oromia.

One local civil servant, who asked for anonymity, told AFP that Fano members had “attacked civilians … with swords and guns” in the Nono district, roughly 110 kilometres (70 miles) southwest of Addis Ababa.

“25 people, including women and children, were killed by militants,” they said, adding that four more later died in hospital.

Another local civil servant, who also requested anonymity, said there were “22 people killed by Fano militants”, but did not provide further details.

Fano militants had been active in the region for four years, regional security official Temesgen Kasa told AFP, “taking advantage of opportune moments to launch attacks against civilians and loot property”.

“The situation has worsened in recent years,” said Temesgen, who comes from neighbouring Central region, which is where he believes the attackers originated from.

The region has long been riven by conflict but the Red Cross said in July that the current clashes were having “devastating consequences” for civilians, particularly in remote areas.

“Oromia doesn’t make the headlines, yet civilians continue to be deeply affected by violence, with many people killed or injured and limited help coming from outside the region,” it said.

How to Disrespect a Sovereign Nation

“If Eritrea had a government”

Gallas are becoming more and more aggressive towards Eritrea with each passing day because Isaias Afwerki's government is tight-lipped and Eritrea is not behaving as an independent state, One thing is clear, Eritrea is fearful of Gallas.

As usual, no official response, no warning statement, no press release, nothing from Eritrean government, so expect Gallas to continue threatening the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Eritrea without interruption.

Eritrea's Minister of Information, X user sounds more like a 14 year old girl gossiping about her friends behind their back than a Minister of Information for a sovereign nation and as far as Gallas are concerned, he is irrelevant.

Yes, Djibouti hosts US, China, Japan and European military bases and it's none of war-torn Ethiopia business.

The narrowest point of the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait is approximately 19 kilometers wide, It connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Berbera also known as the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. Its waters fall entirely under the sovereignty of Djibouti, Eritrea and Yemen, All ships passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait must traverse the territorial waters of Djibouti, Eritrea and Yemen, Foreign ships are allowed innocent passage through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait as long as they pose no threat to the coastal state - Djibouti, Eritrea and Yemen, There is no place for war-torn landlocked Ethiopia in the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.

Speaking of military bases, Djibouti hosts the military bases of the United States, China, France, Italy and Japan. Germany and Spain, too, have a presence in France military base in Djibouti, with an estimated annual income of over $600 million from hosting these military bases, not to mention considerable security benefits, And it's none of war-torn Ethiopia business, Gallas are busy creating their own enemies.

Eritreans have misunderstood this tweet and widely shared on social media, It's not a call for dialogue, It's Gallas' war strategy to manipulate Eritrea and the so-called international community.

AbyssiniaLadyBoy,

Why are you mixing Somalia with Ethiopia here? You were supposed to vent your anger and inferiority complex against Ethiopia. Is Ethiopia being the reason for the shattering Somalia into three jagged pieces, like a brittle asteroid rock scattered across the galaxy. You very well know, African states are baby sitting and bottle-feeding Somalia for it cannot even crawl like a country let alone stand on its feed and walk.

At Least 50 Civilians Reportedly Massacred In Bulen District, Benishangul Gumuz Region

November 24, 2025

There are more than 85 countries in war-torn Ethiopia.

At least 50 civilians mostly ethnic Amharas are massacred in Bulen district, Benishangul Gumuz region Ethiopia. Over 10 of the victims are reported to be women. The incident occurred last Saturday. Sources from the area told borkena that the attack targeted ethnic identity.

The gunmen who perpetrated the attack entered the town around 5:30 a.m. local time, as government authorities confirmed. Also, residents from the area say “Galla Terrorists” gunmen are behind the attack. This is an ethnic Oromo militant nationalist group that calls itself Shane.

The number of deaths from this attack is expected to rise as there are those wounded and admitted to hospital in a life threatening condition.

Initially the number of those killed and whose bodies were found at the scene were 40, according to sources.

Shibeshi Bareda, deputy head of Bulen district administration, on Sunday has confirmed the killing when he expressed “deep condolences” for those killed in Bakuje Kebele by what he described as “extremist gunmen.”

Ethnic Amharas in the Oromia and Benishangul Gumuz regions have been targets of organized attacks over the past seven years.

The illiterate Galla Prime minister Abiy Ahmed begged the new commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) Dagvin R. M. Anderson. to visit war-torn Ethiopia.

Dagvin Anderson accepted the invitation and arrived yesterday and left immediately after arriving because the United States has no vital security and economic interest at stake in war-torn Ethiopia, Moreover, War-torn Ethiopia (excluding Somali State) doesn't have anything the United States needs, the US has already suspended security assistance and military aid to war-torn Ethiopia and that security assistance and military aid suspension will remain in place forever.

Gallas lack knowledge of world politics, the United States and the European Union have shifted their priority strategic from counterterrorism to strategic competition with China in the Indo-Pacific Region, War-torn landlocked Ethiopia is not needed, it is bad news for Ethiopia.

The 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum (IPMF).

Somalia Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali and Djibouti Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Ali Hassan have participated in the Fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, which was held on 20–21 November in Brussels under the theme “Building together a resilient, prosperous and secure future”

The forum brought together leaders and senior officials from 65 countries across Europe and the Indo-Pacific to discuss cooperation on connectivity, economic development and regional stability.

War-torn Ethiopia also known as the world's most populous landlocked country wasn't invited to participate in the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum because war-torn Ethiopia is landlocked and economically & geopolitically irrelevant on the world stage.

The illiterate Galla Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed spoke by phone with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio yesterday and not a single so called state-controlled media reported it, It is obvious that the United States is pressuring war-torn Ethiopia to sign a legally binding agreement with Egypt.

Egypt is strategically important for the United States, while war-torn Ethiopia is insignificant to United States, It is not a priority country for United States foreign policy, More importantly, war-torn Ethiopia (excluding Somali State) doesn't have any valuable natural resources.

War-torn Ethiopia doesn't have options when it comes to dealing with the United States, It lacks valuable natural resources & strategic location to leverage against the United States.

War-torn Ethiopia is as important as Lesotho.
