Before I started to watch the video, you spoiled the day for me because I am a ፋራ who has been allergic to አራዳ about my entire life.

I told you a long time ago that you live in a place somewhere between መርካቶ and ቨሪታስ።

I also asked you a long time ago how many Ethiopians who call themselves አራዳ know who the valedictorian of their high school was and his or her whereabouts ever since.

I was among several of them some 33 years ago when I was amused after hearing ስለ አደዋ እንደራደራለን።

Do you remember reading a book at the library of ቨሪታስ defining and explaining the word አራዳ?

If not there, can you find me one at Addis Ababa University?

I really want to read one to understand the origin and detailed meaning of this word because I don’t want to remain ፋራ in the age of more enlightenment and second Renaissance.
