I am a political guru, at least on this forum!

Post by DefendTheTruth » 08 Oct 2025, 14:36

I remember my comment with regard to the issues of Wolkait and Tsegede (or more generally the so called contested areas between the Amhara and Tigray regions) during the immediate aftermaths of the Pretoria peace accord while reacting to a certain Eritrean dumba$s, who claimed in line of the claim without restoring or declaring the contested areas to the Amharas there will be no agreement.

My short comment was; you know boy unlike your garrison state Ethiopia has a constitution, the delegates for ending the war has no mandate to discuss or arbitrate on such a long running disputes between two federal regions of Ethiopia while holding talks to end the war. Such issues should be resolved according to the constitution of the land, was my reply.

Exactly this what was agreed on according to General Tsadikan Gebretinsae, who represented the TPLF during the talks.

I considered myself not a politician up until today, but now my ideas are even reflected in such a critical stages of ending a devastating war of a big nation like Ethiopia. I am proud of myself now and I could start contemplating about forming my own political party in the country.

Have you given up on Abiy Ahmed's PP already? It seems you are jumping off the sinking ship of prosperity party.

DDT,

As far as I recall no one claims to be a political guru, except Huresa (aka Horus) who boldly stated ፓለቲካን ጥርሱን ሸርፎ ያደገበት ፓለቲከኛ ነኝ በማለት  In my opinion, politics is a stream for the weak, social parasites, endowed with less mental faculty (but sadly with bottomless belly), untrustworthy. If you look at, in Ethiopia all Kebeles, Woredas, etc. level so-called offices are swarmed by those with no reputation and social acceptance - the ዱርዬ፤ ቀጣፊ፤ዋሾ፤ ገንዘብ አለባ die for getting cadre jobs; just like the drunkard, Kahat and cigar addicts, mental sicks, those preying on ch!cks join Pente-Qoste. So, if you think you are not a guru - but, I think you are among those groups I mentioned - a stand out Teregna Qeerroo doesn't have to be a guru. You have Merara Gudina who wasted his age doing nothing - whose world view revolves around Amhara peasants exploited Oromo pastoralists -

In any case, I could not stop laughing when you talk about the constitution stuff. No body in Ethiopia knows or give a damn to this stuff. DDT, you are calling that a goiter on your neck is part of your body and feels it is your body. The constitution cr@ppy stuff is your OLF/PP only goiter.

sarcasm,

well, I could bring up my own party and negotiate for a position in the government, today's political parties have no other goal except use the title for power sharing negotiations.

I can never beat Abiy Ahmed, guaranteed.

Jumping off? It is an honor to be even called a supporter of the party currently in power in Ethiopia, if you care about Ethiopia, of course!

Enjoy the following music and share with us what your position was with regard to the "contested areas" during the talks in Pretoria, if you don't mind.

Hi Defend,

So you want to be another Birhanu Nega and Belete Molla? I was hopping they would be the last ተለጣፊዎች in Ethiopian politics. I am sure you could do better than being teletafi. Don't short change yourself.

I posted hundreds of times on implementing the agreement. The agreement is clear on the framework but Abiy doesn't want to implement Pretoria agreement because he wants to continue occupying parts of Tigray in order to split the region and its people. He has made his choice to obstruct the implementation of the agreement. Nobody believes whatever he says anymore.

You must have a reason to call me that, in the absence of a reason, you might have a fear of your own.

What was your position on the issue at hand here, without beating around the bushes as usual?

Did you not read the following note under the other thread? Why did you avoid answering the questions?

The Hebrew etymology in the Biblical story may reflect an attempt to cancel out traces of Moses' Egyptian origins. The Egyptian character of his name was recognized as such by ancient Jewish writers like Philo and Josephus. Philo linked Moses' name (Ancient Greek: Μωϋσῆς, romanized: Mōysēs, lit. 'Mōusês') to the Egyptian (Coptic) word for 'water' (môu, μῶυ), in reference to his finding in the Nile and the biblical folk etymology.

Obviously you are bitter for what ever reason, that is the only explanation that I can read into your tantrum here. I am not aware of anything that I took away from you to deserve that much. You know everything, according to your own claim.

Why do you avoid answering a simple question and start or restart topics that are unrelated to the simple question?

I did not know until October 8, 2025, about an attempt to cancel out traces of Moses' Egyptian origins.

Did you?

Can you give a simple YES or NO answer?

If there is someone who is not yet convinced about my self-acclaimed guru, then just read the following paragraph in an article I wrote back in 2019, before 6 years.
If we didn’t realize this was the case in the past and we can’t see that it is happening today in front of our eyes, in many different forms, then we are simply just paying a lip service to the cause we claim to have or defend, which is in fact tragic. And the price we will going to pay for our collective failure will be very high, mark my words here.
Did you mark my words? If not, then your failure, not mine!
