Zemene Kassies faction "Afabaha/AFNF" is more pro-Tigray and willing to negioate with TPLF
while Eskinder Negas faction "AFPO/Afahad" said their will be no negioations between Amhara and TPLF. Masresha Sete a supporter of AFPO has also spoken negatively about any sort of dialogue. Opting that Amhara must hold onto enmity with TPLF.
The problem is Tigray has no other party that is as popular and powerful as TPLF. Getachew Redas TPF has shown itself to be disrespectful to the Amhara cause siding with PP and working with PP to violently enforce a Political Party in Mekele that is more Pro-Abiy is a threat to Amhara more threatening then Debretsions / fetlewerks adwan TPLF wing who are more align with indepedent thinking and self governing cause
Mere Wedajo in Raya Kobo avoided conflict with Tigray forces in 2023 and opted to continue fighting with PP. Mere Wedajo will likely lead the dialogue between TPLF and FANO.
But negioations over Alamata have yet to take place. Alamata city is now becoming lawless and without civil law civilians face security threats. its situation is threatening and likely being used by ENDF to instigate war between Amhara and Tigray. As at times Tigray civilians are killed in Alamata as well as Amhara civlians are killed for the past 2 years. Getachew has done nothing to stabilize Alamata he has helped de-stabilize alamata. Wheres the cooridor project in Alamata?
