Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III welcomed the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to the Pentagon today.

As the demand for critical minerals continues to rise globally, Somalia has become the new frontier where major countries (the US, China and the EU) are vigorously competing with one another for political influence and for Somalia's vast untapped natural resources, they are also competing with one another to be the main security partner for Somalia.

Unlike war-torn Ethiopia, which is the most populous landlocked country in the entire world, Somalia’s natural resources, its resource-rich massive coastline and the commercially enviable strategic location in Africa give it immense geopolitical importance.

This War-torn Ethiopia-Kenya Defense Cooperation Agreement Means Absolutely Nothing to Neighboring Countries

Let's not forget that war-torn Ethiopia also signed a defense cooperation agreement with Pakistan, Tanzania and even with Burundi in the past few years.

62 years ago, Just before Kenya gained its independence on December 12, 1963, Ethiopia's 93 different ethnic groups (including Eritrea) and Kenya's 77 different ethnic groups signed a defense agreement pact to protect and come to each other’s aid if either were attacked by Somalia, The defense pact was signed in July, 1963 in Addis Ababa and ratified in December 27,1963 in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, The United Kingdom and Haile Selassie were the mastermind of the defense pact, Haile Selassie managed to unite 170 different primitive ethnic groups in two countries to fight against a newly independent Somalia, The 170 ethnic groups renewed the defense pact in 1979 and again for the last time in 1989, Haile Selassie lived in fear of Somalis and spent sleepless nights.

A Brief History of The Scramble For Somalia

The United Kingdom ceded a large portion of Western Somalia (Ogaden) to Ethiopia in 1897, with the remaining British control over Somali territories being transferred to Ethiopia in 1948 and in 1955, under the Anglo-Ethiopia Agreement signed in 1897 that ceded a huge portion of Western Somalia (Ogaden) to Ethiopia in 1897 without the consent of the Somali people and which was rejected outright by Somalia when it gained independence in 1960.

It didn't end there, the British government again transferred a vast region in present-day North Eastern region and Northern region of Kenya, inhabited and still inhabits by Somali people to the new Kenyan government upon Kenya's full independence in December 1963, despite protests by the Somalis and Somalia severed all diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom on 18 March 1963, Back then, the British, French and Italians were the greatest enemy of the Somalis.

The dirty low IQ Gallas are caged in a tiny resourceless landlocked region in war-torn Ethiopia, I am sure Somalis will keep a vigilant eye on them, Gallas will not live in peace next to Somalis, no way..

Barite, also known as barium sulfate - Somalia minerals.

Blessed with abundant living and non-living natural resources that are globally strategically vital, Somalia is perfectly positioned to become a major supplier of critical raw materials to the European Union, the United States and of course to the rest of the world in the near future.

War-torn Ethiopia’s ambassador should be summoned to provide explanation regarding this map

Gallas provocative behavior.

The so called Ethiopia's state-controlled media has no right to draw a line on a Somalia map without Somalia's government consent, It is a form of provocation and therefore, Somalia should summon war-torn Ethiopia’s ambassador to provide explanation regarding the map in the image above, It should not be ignored.

Somalia must always keep an eye on Gallas & the so called Ethiopia's state-controlled media propaganda, Galla are caged scavengers who will not live in peace next to Somalis.
