Today I came to the conclusion why Ethiopia will never access to the red sea not via Eritrea djibouti or the Somali republic.
Do you Guys remember when. The late mou was signed with Somaliland the break away republic . Somalia used it’s diplomatic muscle to make Ethiopia back down . Bare in mind. The region of Somaliland was willing to give this land to Ethiopia for 50 years . In Exchange for diplomatic recognition from Ethiopia. Plus a naval base for Ethiopia sounds good right. Here it become messy . Somalia called it’s Arab and turkish friends and then the later au Ethiopia could have lose the au head quarters. Imagine Somalia. The federal goverment of Somalia which doesn’t even control all of Somalia which has Ethiopian troops inside its own land could make this happen . What makes u think Ethiopia can take Eritrean land Eritrea much stronger then Somalia. It has no Ethiopian troops inside it’s OWN land Somalia . At it’s weakes point in history made Ethiopia back down that’s why I don’t believe in the laters threat about Ethiopia against Eritrea.
