I am an American. America is my country. As an American, I select my president based on American domestic issues. American foreign policy is not driven by Ethiopian national interest, it is driven by America national interest. Here are distortion on Adadi Mariyiam

Here is an amazing falsification and distortion of history by illiterate Tigray priests. Adadi is located in the ancient Wej province, one of the provinces of Gurage during Damot.

1. Distortion # 1. Adadi. Adadi does not mean white birds. It is not an Oromo term. It is a common Gurage term used as an honorable name of Mothers. Adad is a common loving name for mothers as we speak. Adadi Maryiam means Mother Mariyam, our mother.

2. Ebo is not only an Oromo term, it is a Geez term. 'Abo' or a corrupted Yebo means 'let it be'. It means 'yehun'. As a priest the narrator must have known but these day what we have is Tigray cadres not Geez speakers. Gurages sing to praise - Abo Lali, Abo lali - meaning 'belay yehun, talak yehun, let it be praised''''

3. Major historical distortion. The Lalibela rule has been taken over by Solomic dynasty by 1270 AD and in fact Amde Seyon took over Damot in 1330. Lalibela could not build Adadi Maryiam because:

4. Adadi Mariyam was built by Abune Gebre Menfes Kidus, the Egyptian who came to Gurage (Wej) in 1440s and built almost all of major Churches in Gurage including the Great Zequala Abo, Adadi Mariyam, Medre Kebd Abo, Many Churches of Famous Baleworld Tabots such as Amaute Balewold, Dayo Abo etc.

Abune Gebre Menfes Kidus is buried at Medre Kebd Abo in Kistane. That is where he is resting if you want to visit our Holy land Medre Kebd.

So this Egyptian Saint could not have meet Lalibela before 1270 while he is physically located in Gurage in 1440 (170 years) later. This is how lazy that priest is. He could not even check his own church records for activities of the Abune.

5. Distortion # 5. In 1440, there were no Oromos in Damot, Wej, Ganz, Badeke, Zeway or Harla etc. Gran mohamde came and burned Adadi in 1520 and it was after that our people built underground churches including all the other washa churches. Imagine that Gran came almost 100 years after Adadi was built.
