Somalia And Djibouti Will Stop Using the Term “Horn of Africa” And Instead Use “Somali Peninsula”

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 30 Aug 2025, 14:39

Somalia And Djibouti Have Officially Announced They Will Stop Using the Term “Horn of Africa” And Instead Use “Somali Peninsula”

August 30, 2025.

Somalia and Djibouti have officially approved the use of “Somali Peninsula” as their countries's geographical regional name, because war-torn landlocked Ethiopia has ruined the term “Horn of Africa” and it has become a confusing and wrong term in current usage, Therefore, Somalia and Djibouti have officially announced they will stop using the term “Horn of Africa” and adopt Somali peninsula instead, After all, Greater Somalia is technically a peninsula, It is a peninsula almost isolated by ocean.

In my humble opinion, on political, moral and cultural, Somalia and Djibouti must set themselves apart from other countries in the region, especially war-torn landlocked Ethiopia which will eventually disintegrate into more than eighty-five independent countries very soon.

Moreover, Somali children must be taught how to hate Gallas. especially Somali children who live along the shared border in war-torn Ethiopia, There is no doubt that the low IQ Gallas are now Somalis and Somalia's enemy number one.

As can be seen, war-torn Ethiopia is using the term “Horn of Africa” like a toilet paper, Gallas and other ethnic groups in war-torn Ethiopia can have it.

"Zoomali Peninsula" only represents where the Zoomalis and their camels live. The Afars in the Horn of Africa of Djibouti, Eritrea and Ethiopia are not Zoomalis.
Garbage! No one will use such a camel dung sounding term, because the Horn of Africa includes Eritrea and Ethiopia but the "Somali Peninsula" only represents the non existent Zoomalia.
Sooner or later, the fate of Zoomalia will be decided by the Jihadi Al Shabab and its true Sharia Islamic rule. Were they sniffing a camel arse when they came with this camel-shiitit?

Djibouti Telecom to extend DARE1 cable from Kenya to South Africa

September 1, 2025

Djibouti Telecom has unveiled plans to extend its Djibouti Africa Regional Express 1 (DARE1) subsea cable system, a critical infrastructure that already links Djibouti, Somalia, and Kenya. The DARE1 network is designed to deliver high-capacity, low-latency, and resilient connectivity, strengthening regional integration and enabling the expansion of cloud, content, and digital services across East Africa.

The new southward extension will significantly expand the system’s reach along Africa’s east coast, enhancing route diversity and connecting additional markets. Planned landing points include Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar, and South Africa. All new segments will interconnect at the Mombasa (Nyali) trunk station, ensuring seamless service across both existing and extended routes. The projected length of the new route between Mombasa and Durban is estimated at 3,200 to 3,500 kilometers.

Work on the extension is expected to begin in 2026, with a target ready-for-service date in 2028. By integrating these new segments, the cable system will improve resilience, add alternative paths for international traffic, and increase capacity to meet the growing demands of carriers, enterprises, and cloud providers.

The DARE1 extension is envisioned as a regional African cable, complementing existing systems and contributing to the development of a stronger digital economy. With scalable bandwidth and more reliable connections to global hubs, the initiative supports the long-term goal of building robust, future-ready subsea infrastructure for the continent.

The existing DARE1 system counts Hormuud Telecom Somalia, Somtel International Somalia, and Telkom Kenya.
