You are wasting too much time on Ethiopian politics in the hope that it might rescue Eritrea. It doesn’t work like that. The fact is Ethiopia itself is a dysfunctional country that may not survive long term.

A new country isn’t about flag & passport. It is much much more than that.

Eritrea is a dying country. The demographics leaking at an alarming level alone will kill her in the next decade. People upto 4 generations are deserting. No country will survive that let alone a new born nation.

Just think of it that Eritrea has only one leader since it is inception. Just one. Who thinks and acts as if he lives in the 18th century. The only thing he knows is war.

By the way with the experience and longevity Ethiopia is not better.

Eritrea’s population may have grown a little bit, but the youth keeps leaving. Ethiopia’s problem is ethnic based democracy. If Ethiopia disintegrates, or change the form of government, problem solved. On the other hand, Eritrea’s problem is the work of the pseudo Ethiopian namely, Isayas Afewerqi , the alcoholic man who hates Eritreans to the core and the coward crowd who surround him.. He hates Eritreans more than Hitler hated the Jews. It is all the work of the psychopath a man named Isayas Afewerqi who dreams to be the leader of Ethiopia. They sent him to destroy Eritrea and its people, he is 3/4 of the way. That Djibouti comment he made was done to make it easier for the little twerp to violate Eritrean sovereignty. BTW, what Right said is exactly true. Both countries are going to hell. The decent youth on both side will pay for it.

That is untrue - this is typical scam or double standard. Proof--> Russia has re-stored Crimea back into Russia; and many more countries are undoing historical injustices. In that regard, Ethiopia has a much more valid and compulsory reasons to restore its sovereignty over Red Sea. And without a shred of doubt that will happen - till then be grateful to OLF and TPLF, their existence mean existence of Shabia, a suffering Eritrea province. As far as we know, no single Ethiopian gives a damn to whatever sh!t some one says or UN says this or that sh!t. An existential threat is not an optional one, but a must and Ethiopia must undo the injustices committed against her by Woyane -Meles and Shabia Isayas with the support of Arabs and the West. It is Ethiopia's business none of other countries business or private citizens of another country's business. It is understood, the truth made you so nervous and has been nightmare. But it will not only bite you but in the end will eat you up unless you accept it early.
