TPLF is not in love with Isayas, neither is Isayas in love with TPLF. Believe it or not, TPLF is the most fierce fighting force in the region. Abbiy is determined to eliminate it. But, Abbiy does not have real fighters. His army is nothing but numbers. TPLF is well armed. TPLF fighters fight for life. But, TPLF does not trust Isayas. Isayas dreams about Minikik palace to this day. If TPLF fires the first bullet toward Addis, TPLF leaders are worried that Isayas may come from behind. Hence, TPLF is not afraid of Abbiy’s war machine. Abbiy knows this very well as well. At one point, the game will have to start. Will the Emirati adventurer stick by Abbiy till the end perhaps yes, if he does not get bored enough ?

Tigray does not want war but Abiy is imposing on it. Same is true to Amhara & Oromia . Alliance of Tigray with Amhara & Oromia is enough to topple Abiy. TPLF & Isaias tactical agreement could be limited to neutrality on their respective affairs.
