Only little kids and immature adults are impressed by flashy lights. The mature can discern what lies beneath the shallow glitter. As Jawar points out, Abiy and his puerile cadres want to fool Ethiopians with flashy lights in a tiny corner of the dying nation. But the unpleasant reality cannot be hidden when even doctors are unable to afford a decent meal.
