Ethiopia launches official tourism website

Ethiopia’s Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the Information Network Security Administration, has launched a new tourism marketing website, “Visit Ethiopia”, aimed at promoting the country’s destinations and services to global audiences.

The website will serve as a central platform to highlight Ethiopia’s tourism offering. It includes a chatbot to assist users in accessing destination information and tourism service providers.

Ethiopia’s Minister of Tourism, Selamawit Kassa, said the country has significant tourism assets and stressed the importance of adopting innovative technologies to enhance the sector’s competitiveness. She said the platform will provide timely and high-quality destination information while connecting stakeholders through a single internet interface.
