I think it is more of excessive ego for power by Zemene Kassie, not so much about the collective consciousness of Gojam's desire to breakaway. Ofcourse Fano has the right to align with any group that it may think can bring it to power quick. Do I agree with TPLF coming to power on the back of Fano? Hell no! Not the spent force OLD guard TPLF leaders like Debrech, fetle…etc but if they help Fano then for peaceful retirement or young TDF forces align with Fano and come to power unifying the nation and eliminating ethnic politics, that may be good option. Tigrians have full right to participate in Ethiopian politics as far as they behave right. But I would be amazed if Fano serves as a workhorse ushering in TPLF.
May be shabiya is upto something through Ximdo to align TPLF and Fano?

____It is true Abiy Ahmed and his OLF party are as anti-Ethiopian as ሓርነት ትግራይ and ሻዕብያ. Both of us are against these not only, anti-Ethiopian but also are anti-humanity - an imaginable crime committed over the last decades are evidence. The YouTube and TikTok drama on the internet does not match the reality on ground in Gojjam. I see where most of these TikTokers and YouTubers are from.

___ The only group we put trust is the one that stands for principle. When you think of what would the win-win deal between ህወሓት ፋኖ Zemene and Shabia; TPLF and ህወሓት ፋኖ, the outcome will not be fundamentally different from the last 34 years. It is all the same. There is no free lunch. However, the free lunch is he thinks he satisfy his lust for power. I do remember, the first thing he said in public when rumors circulated about his disagreement with Eskindir, he said "እንደ አጥናፉ አባተ ድጋሜ አንታለልም". That was a red flag.
